Yeah, today wasn't a good day - pop rock music question, kid-lit question (Who is the Weather witch?), Sports question - like I know who any of these guys are, let alone where they went to school! Heheheh, first time I have had to guess at more than 2 of them - 5 today and got 2 of those wrong. Ah well - you win some, you lose some! It's still fun.

I've just found this thread and joined. Great idea - good to have a change from visa threads, and off topic is usually taken up with Muslim vs rest of the world debate.

I've done well the past 2 days, but today's questions were tough! 2 sports questions and a children's lit question. I have a BA in English, so it was embarrassing that i missed a question on Lewis Carroll!

4/15/06- Visa in hand!!!

4/21/06 Arrival in U.S.

5/11/06 Legal Marriage

11/4/06 Wedding

  1. Jacksonville's pro-football team (I said "panthers", where it's "jaguars")
  2. The Anne Rice question on Merrick and Mona (should have seen the alliteration and picked "Mayfair", but didn't)
