9/10 (but because first score didn't submit, 1365 seconds)

the only one I got wrong was the number of reeds in a sax (1 not 3), and guessed right on Matt Perry's sitcom (I've been out of touch with TV since the cancellation of "Street Legal").

Ok, I keep getting weird questions.

Your two year-old just bit her brother when he took a toy from her. What do you do?

Your answer: say "No!" and give her a lecture on biting

The correct answer was say "No! Biting hurts!" and comfort the hurt child

This is a problem and needs to be dealt with, but please don't bite your child! Lecturing a two-year-old is as useful as lecturing your dog, don't waste your time. Let her know it's not acceptable, let the hurt child get all the fuss and attention, and

Caroline, I think we are both getting those wolves book questions - I have had 2 questions from Ella of the Wolves - a book I haven't read - why don't they shuffle the questions a little bit better and put in a book I have read - and I have read a lot; it's not like they don't have a fair number to choose from (VBG!).

I have bookmarked it as well as it just makes it easier to get to every day. Plus, the link on the very first post of this thread works too, although sometimes it takes a bit to load.

Me, I generally miss the questions about sports, popular music and celebrities that I don't know along with those books about Wolves, hehehehe. There seem to be 2 or 3 of those for each quiz.

For myself and ILIKEALLCAPS, it's the Dark Tower series questions by Stephen King that kill us. We're both voracious readers, but haven't read those at all. And I'm not going to do so just to appease the trivia god/dess(s/es).

By which transit company was the Franklin Av. Shuttle built?

Your answer: MTACC

The correct answer was BMT

The Franklin Av line was actually originally part of the BMT Brighton local track. The first BMT Brighton local service was connected to Franklin Av on the Franklin Av El and ran from one of the either of the old BMT terminals, Park Row across the Brook
