Does having asthma = sputum exam?

My fiancée has her medical on march 10th at St.Lukes, she also has a mild case of asthma, I'm not sure if asthma can cause a possible spot on the chest X-ray. Could anyone else with asthma shed some light on this subject. Did you pass/fail? I was also wondering if she should even mention her asthma since she doesn't take anything for it. your thoughts? I wasn't having much luck finding any info on this.

In one word NO :no: Asthma will not show up on TB chest x-ray.

Yes mention it they ask.
