And to think she trumped in a debate, the most experienced candidate the Dems put up ...... Joe biden... Obamers VP.

I think appearing brain dead is a requirement for a successful politician. The apparently intelligent ones seem to fail miserably, but not before taking the country down with them. You may like the "dumb" ones for their affability, but pay attention a little more to their decisions. The brainiacs tend to be trusted without question, until it is too late to stop them.

Like mad scientists, there is a fine line between genius and lunacy.

It is easy to appear intelligent when compared to such an intellectual featherweight as Sarah Palin!! This is really just 'dumb and dumber'!!

Why is it that the modern GOP seems unable to put up a candidate with some real intellectual horsepower? Is it because it takes a person lacking in critical thinking skills to be able to mouth the idiotic things they say with sufficient sincerity to attract enough simpleton votes? Kinda reminds me of the concept of "useful idiot"!

Daniels would make an excellent candidate but I doubt he can win a GOP primary.
