Question abt case numbers

My case is on the way to the London Embassy and this has been confirmed by email query.

My question is this.

How do I get the Case Number so my fiance can fill out the forms for packet 3. We wanted to get them done before he recieved his letter.

I think I have lost my mind with this whole process.. rofl

I just re read my email from NVC and if I am reading it right it already has the case number on it. Some one please confirm that this is the case number he needs to schedule his appointment. I also wondered what that August date was ?

The email said.

Dear Sir/Madam:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC). The NVC has completed its processing of the visa petition you mentioned in your letter and has forwarded the petition to the assigned US Embassy/Consulate General for further processing.

Any further inquiries should be directed to the assigned US Embassy or Consulate General.

Case Number: LND********** ( Blanked out by me for the purpose of this post )

Beneficiary's Name: *****************( Blanked out by me for the purpose of this post )

Preference Category: K1

Your Priority Date: 11Aug2010

Foreign State Chargeability: GREAT BRITAIN AND NORTHERN IRELAND

If the embassy your case has been forwarded to is London then you're good to go with the casenumber :) LDN is their intitials as far as I know.

K1 process, October 2010 > POE, July 2011

I-129F approved in 180 days from NOA1 date. (195 days from filing to NOA2 in hand)

Interview took 224 days from I-129F NOA1 date. (241 days from filing petition until visa in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until POE: 285 days

EAD/AP Approval took 51 days from NOA1 date to email update. (77 days from filing until EAD/AP in hand)

This has been such a long drawn out process.. Ugh. Thank you for your reply. Would you happen to know what that August date is ?

Ok thank you :) Back to waiting for my fiance to receive the letter and helping him fill out packet 3 forms. Yuck.. But hes planning on calling them thursday if he doesnt have it by then.
