Hello Everyone,

I'm A U.S. citizen planning to marry my fiance from the Philippines, so I petitioned for a K-1 Visa a little over 1 year ago, everything appeared to be going on schedule in the process, we even obtained my fiances passport, letters etc, but after receiving the NOA 2 my fiance never received the "packet 3" or anything else?

I blame myself for not aggressively following up on this, but at the time I was/am living with my fiance in the Philippines, so we were/are together.

My question is: Where do we go from here? Have I waited too long to follow up? Will we need to start over?

Thank you,

i saw their timeline and its dated 2009-11-27 when they get there NOA1. so maybe in 5 months they got the NOA2 which is april 2010. i was wondering why took so long before they take an action on where the paper goes why they never got the packet 3.

I would suggest to read some topics regarding about this situation. here is some link that may gave you some idea http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/96596-noa-2-expiration/

Goodluck on your journey :)

Thank you,

Call the NVC @ 603-334-0700, gave them your receipt number (look at the NOA1 receipt) then confirm if they already forwarded your application to the Manila US embassy (which i presume that is the case).

After confirming, you call the manila embassy at 1-888-877-9888, or email them at IVManilaReplies@state.gov, ask them whatever questions you have, you will be able to get a response within 3 days.

Goodluck!!!

US embassy website for the phils has the packet ONLINE. Your fiance needs to get it from the website and you need to call NVC to find out where the case is at etc.
