Last Name Change

My husband and I were just married in Vegas and are filing the paperwork for his AOS.

My family needs more time to accept our relationship so in the meantime we have kept our marriage between us therefore I have no intentions of changing my last name with social security or the DMV until we can afford to have a ceremony that involves family and friends, maybe one year from now.

How will this reflect upon our application process specifically the interview? Will not hyphenating my last name or not taking my husband's last name with Social Security/DMV etc affect the interviewer's opinion of our relationship?

if she files the AOS in her madien name, she will get her permanent residence card in her maiden name,next year if you want to change to married name you will pay a fee form 1-90. 365.00 new permanent resident card,and the mvd mite charge a fee for a new driver license, the social security you have to change your name, many people don't change the family names from different countrys,

Could this adversely affect the AOS application because you are keeping your marriage from family? Do friends know? I ask because sometimes people say that affidavits from people who know you is proof of a bonafide relationship in lieu of other things.

yes surely some friends know and some don't, we have many things in common, lease, att phone bills, cable tv bills as well as coned, bank statement(although its balance isn't like 5k, 6k coz we don't have that much money anyways, it does show payments for utility bills and rent, aside from those, pictures from our wedding involving me, and him in Vegas, and pictures that spanning around 2 years, since we met in may 2009.

and the reason why some friends don't know is because, it'd be weird for them to know we are already married when the big ceremony which involves families takes place.
