Hey Guys,

Does it make sense to add a column for "Check Cashed"? I think it is an important milestone and if we track it, we will know how we compare with others. I see that people write a post anyways when their checks are cashed. So why not track it as well. Those who are not using personal check, may fill in "N/A".

Thoughts?

We thought it was going to take about 6 months, so we were happy to read someone is estimating 2-3.5 months.

Anyone else getting an error when checking their case status online with the receipt # from noa1? :( Maybe they just haven't updated it in there system?

"Your case can not be found at this time in My Case Status. Please check your receipt number and try again. If you need further assistance, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1.800.375.5283."

On my NOA it says "Upon receipt of your ASC appointment notice, you can find the status of you case on-line at www/uscis.gov. To view the status of your case, enter the application number found at the top of the ASC appointment notice." My guess is you have to wait until you have your appointment notice for biometrics to be able to see your case online.
