Ours was updated when it was approved.

And mine hasn't changed since I was approved a week ago. I suppose it varies.

what i mean is could it already be approved but not updated in the system yet or once it is approved it is updated online right away and then you receive a letter is that how it works ?

Well I already got the letter and it still says initial review, so yes it could already be approved even if the status doesn't say.

There is no order to the way USCIS does anything, just happens as and when, just keep up the daily routine of checking mail, checking e-mail and checking online status, then think, Well maybe tomorrow :thumbs:

i just called the CIS they say that they are working on April cases now if you did not got any answer like me call them for request

Has anyone's form I751 taken one year to be approved or longer than that because its been 60 days and uscis said they haven't made a decision on the RFE I submitted 60 days ago now they extended my case and said they need another 60 days to make a decision on my case. so in another 60 Days it will be one year for my case and still no guarantee if they make a decision because the uscis operator said sometimes it can take longer than one year in that being said then i would have to get another stamp on my passport since the one year time frame would be expired. I don't understand why uscis is taken so long in making a decision in my case..... :angry:

Received the email today indicating that they have ordered production of our GC on 12/13. Hopefully the card will be in the mail soon. I checked the USCIS website and it does show the updated status reflecting the GC production on 12/13.

Received notice of card production ordered 12/16 via email and text message. So it looks like my paperwork finally made it back to the national service center from the local office.
