aww. an RFE. did you send it back quickly with good supporting evidence that was specifically requested?? if so, i don't necessarily think it will add that much time.

We are in the same boat as you.. It took them 7+ months to ask for more evidence. I sent the Mortage papers and some additonal bank staements, Documents showing that we are undergoing Infertility treatments to become parents and tax returns for the current year. All that was sent in 1 week since we got the RFE.

Now iwe are just waiting for them to awake from their deep sleep to work on our pending cases. I also called the stupid uscis support knowing that they will be of no help.. but i still wnated to try and for the past god knows how many months they seem to be still processing cases from Feb 24th... Looks like they are stuck on that date. A month ago when i had called to inquire on my status that was before i got the RFE they were still processing Feb 24th.. This is seriously getting beyond annoying levels and we have no means to get that fixed. As a customer where your life decision are in some one else's hands frustrates you even more when they are sooooo incompetent & all you can do is wait.....

I am so stressed these days that I can't sleep and not been able to concentrate on anything... Don't know how long this will keep going...

C'mon VSC gear up and give us some good news.... People send some good juju my way...lol..... Good Luck to all those are waiting to hear good news just like me....

Received my GC today 11/10/2011 in the mail! Thanks again to administrators of the site and to members for posting their experiences! Best of luck to those still waiting!

I finally received my card today, the letter was dated from 10/18 but there was some trouble with my mail forwarding since the move in July. Apparently it was sent back to Vermont and they mailed it out again (?), but it's all good and I finally have it now.

Thank you all for mental support, I don't know what I would have done without VJ. It sure helped me stay sane lol.

Updating FREE RYDER and Chibby's card received date

my update yeah actually i received a letter from uscis last month saying they need more evidence that the marriage is in good faith. They said the evidence I submitted was insuffcient. its a shame it took them 8 months to tell me that they need more information and now i am guessing it will take them another 4 months to approve my application making it 1 year for the whole application to be approved and get the 10 year card.

Sorry to hear that... When did you receive RFE and when did you respond to it?

RFE received on 10/5/11 then they received my response and information which i sent to them on 10/17/11 now 60 days from this date if i don't hear a response on my RFE i have to contact uscis and see what going on unbelievable ......
