Finally!!! I got the letter saying I was approved :) My experience was unusual, mine went without fingerprint, but supposedly I will get the card within next 60 days :D

I'll never understand how USCIS works. I called today and was told that they are working on NOA dated February 28. It has been over seven months since we filed and this is the second time I have called and been told that our case is within normal processing times. Naturally I'm talking about VSC. Five weeks ago I was told they were working on February and they are still working on February. Yet there are people here who files weeks after we did that already have their cards in hand. Obviously they don't work on applications based on the order they are received.

haha, looks like they're following "No applicant left behind" policy when quoting current processing date.

I'll never understand how USCIS works. I called today and was told that they are working on NOA dated February 28. It has been over seven months since we filed and this is the second time I have called and been told that our case is within normal processing times. Naturally I'm talking about VSC. I hear you, I hope you hear from them soon. We're also scheduled to move in 2 weeks and I am super worried about mails being lost. I hope it all works out soon.

Looks like VSC has now updated their processing times, they no list Feb 24th 2011 as their processing date and not 6 months. Looks like some of us might be waiting a while longer :whistle:

Seems like we're also approved, 10/18/2011.

We did not get email or text message like most people did. In fact, our online case status still shows Initial Review. However, we opened a service request on Monday because we were over the 6 months period. My husband got an email from USCIS that our case was approved on 10/18 and card is under production now.
