It seems to me that the wait for Vermont Center is greater than 6 months. I already hit the 6 month mark and i haven't heard anything from them. I hope i get news soon

it has been 7 months for me and still waiting to get approved yeah vermont service center is SUPER SLOW maybe they can learn something from the california service center which is processing there cases very fast......

I just checked the USCIS website that say's they ordered the production of my wife and son's 10 year green card as of yesterday 9/7/11. I don't have a firm letter or cards as of yet. However, I am fine with the confirmation from USCIS WOOOOOHOOOOW :dance::dance::dance::yes::yes:

can someone please update my stat . Card send via usps 9/6 and welcome letter send 9/7.. Still haven't received either but got 2 text messages with those dates..

Btw. Thanks you all for all the help and advice I got the past 3 years.. I will be back or should I say we all be back in FEB 2012 for citizenship.. GLTA

Received my 10 yr green card today! Thought I'd share the good news with fellow VSCers.

I don't know what my approval date is, don't know where to check that.

Received the green card today, only 3 days after approval. That was fast!

I'm out in California for work...and my husband just called and said the immigration letter came in - APPROVED! :dance:

I don't know what the date information says, but are you guys writing the date you receive the letter, or the date the letter states? I will update my info as soon as I get home.

Please update my timeline for my approval on Sept 10

USCIS received and processed my app March 10

Hi guys, have been lurking in this forum since 2008:) just wanted to share and encourage others that r wating as well...i got the card production email today. my noa1 was on march18th, i was a day late (day91) and did not give them an explanation, must admit i have been sweating bullets coz of this hehehe and my fp was April 29th. thanks for the encouragement and we see u next year on the citizenship thread:)

I contacted USCIS customer service since it has been past 6 months. The rep said they are currently processing application of date Feb 28. So they are quite behind in processing, about 29 days after the normal processing time is what the rep mentioned.

I think sometimes they tell us ANYTHING to shut us up! There doesn't always seem to be any true pattern (even though there is supposed to be) because some of us with applications around that time or later have received their greencards already while others haven't. I guess it also depends on other parts of the process too - like the biometrics date, which stack of applications yours lands in and whose desk it ends up on... to me every step of this long drawn out process has "rough guidelines" but the dates have never made sense across the board. There is always some that get surprised with something earlier than expected and some that have to wait longer. Frustrating.

I'm sure you'll hear something soon BCP47 (and everyone else still waiting).

I am so ready to hear some updates, specially approvals. I wonder this slowness has something to do with budget issues.

08/31/2012 - Received email from USCIS saying the package is accepted
09/11/2012 - Received a letter saying case transferred Lee's Summit, MO
02/15/2013 - Received an email saying case is approved
02/22/2013 - I-130 NOA2 hard copy received

NVC Journey

03/11/2013 - NVC case # assigned
03/12/2013 - Petitioners' email corrected, Beneficiary's email added
03/13/2013 - DS3032 received
03/13/2013 - DS3032 email sent (was sent before the we received the DS3032)
03/13/2013 - AOS fee invoiced and Paid (shows In Progress)
03/14/2013 - AOS fee shows PAID
03/14/2013 - AOS package sent (overnight next-day delivery)
03/15/2013 - AOS package delivered to NVC on 03/15/2013 at 10:06:00
03/19/2013 - Re-sent DS-3032 email with Supervisor Review on subject
03/21/2013 - DS-3032 accepted
03/22/2013 - IV fee invoiced and paid

04/16/2013 - IV Checklist response mailed - new Marriage Certificate

04/16/2013 - Case Complete (they found our first marriage certificate during supervisor review??)
04/17/2013 - NVC received IV Checklist response
04/23/2013 - Case Complete email from NVC

05/13/2013 - Medical

06/03/2013 - Interview

it is the end of fiscal year(September) for USCIS, I am thinking that is why we see a slow pace in approvals......
