hi everyone

I am new to the forum and i need some help on my case I filed my i-751 in march and also did the biometrics in march of 2011 and it has been now 6 months later and my case on the uscis website status shows initial review. does anyone how much longer it will take for my case to be approved because vermont service center is taking very long or is it they haven't updated there website in a while can someone please give me some info i would really appreciate it thanx... :help::(

If you want to be added to the list we need to know the dates you filed, date of NOA and biometrics. You time-line might not be too far off those listed. You filed at VSC? Did you do your biometrics at the end of March? Where there any special circumstances re your case? Some of those getting approved right now did their biometrics at the beginning of April. It's taking some of us 6 months to get our Greencard - you might be getting yours any time now. If you give us more details maybe someone will be able to help.

I'm updating our status... I've received text and email messages today that my hubby's green card is in production as of yesterday (June 13). We should expect to receive it in the mail in 30 days. Yay

Hang in there, you are on schedule. Right now those who did their bio's in early April are seeing some activity. Looking at the timeline here there are many others ahead of you still waiting, including myself. Keep those fingers crossed and a little prayer and hope vsc keeps on moving. Hey you never know when someone will get lucky and skips the line. Good luck.

I don't understand on the people that filed at the vermont service center and did there biometrics before me and have already gotten approved and I am still waiting doesn't it suppose to be the other way around or does that mean they pick the applications randomly.

Patience is a Virtue, as you can see by the list, it happens when it happens, Nothing to do with Biometrics dates, there are lots of things being done besides a case officer checking your paperwork, FBI background checks ect.

C-MAN, I completely understand how you feel with this waiting game. For me it will be 6 months on Sept 10. I booked an infopass for the 12th not sure if I should go or if I should just wait another 30 days.

So I got a call from my lawyer today. They received approval letter n said I should get card in all within 7 days.. I'm could not believe it and called the lawyer again to make sure.lol

Will post dates as soon I get copy of letter.. GO VSC!!!!!!!!!
