Finally received the card on August 12, three months after approval! (USCIS lost my wife's signature, so she had to go back for a second biometrics appointment after she was already approved.)

I'm updating our status... I've received text and email messages today that my hubby's green card is in production as of yesterday (June 13). We should expect to receive it in the mail in 30 days. Yay

Had the AoS interviews today and was informed of approval at the end of the interviews.

We were interviewed seperately, I went first. Questions were about things around the house, color and position of washer and dryer etc, health conditions, what we did last weekend, etc. Asked if she'd recognize the house key, I said probably not because we use the keypad on the garage door mostly. Funny that she uses that keycode about five times a day when working outside, but she couldn't remember it for the interview. Didn't matter though, since he approved her green card. Said it should arrive in a few weeks.

Have you meant ROC interview? You filed I-751 form, right?

AOS interview is based on I-485 form.

Had our ROC interview yesterday. The interview was really tame, just a lot of verifying information on the forms we'd submitted and showing them originals of things like our Costco membership and bank statements.

At the end, the officer told us that he had approved us, but because we had been chosen at random for a "quality check" he couldn't officially enter it into the system until our case had been reviewed by his supervisor. So it would take another 2 weeks for the case to be reviewed, and then once that was done he'd place the order for green card production. Online status still shows our case is pending review. He gave us a slip of paper that said that we would need to wait 90 days, and if we had not heard anything back, then we could call to check our case. But he assured us that we should have the new green card in the next 4 weeks.

Had our ROC interview yesterday. The interview was really tame, just a lot of verifying information on the forms we'd submitted and showing them originals of things like our Costco membership and bank statements.

At the end, the officer told us that he had approved us, but because we had been chosen at random for a "quality check" he couldn't officially enter it into the system until our case had been reviewed by his supervisor. So it would take another 2 weeks for the case to be reviewed, and then once that was done he'd place the order for green card production. Online status still shows our case is pending review. He gave us a slip of paper that said that we would need to wait 90 days, and if we had not heard anything back, then we could call to check our case. But he assured us that we should have the new green card in the next 4 weeks.

We didn't get so detailed an explanation after our interview. He merely said something about 2-3 weeks. He did say that if she needed to travel before the green card arrived to come in and get a stamp in her passport.

The letter from USCIS dated 08/22/2011, was in the mail box today. Says we should receive his card within 60 days. We're so happy and excited. We didn't expect anything at least until Sept. We now get a small breather until we file for citizenship in Feb. 2012.

GREAT! VSC started to do the March filings..

My husband has been approved!!!

hey guys, I'm a Feb filer, but my NOA date is March 1st, so I thought I should let you know that I just received an email and a txt message and a letter in the mail (it's crazy, I know, all at the same time) saying on "Congratulations! Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production" :dance:

I'm soooo happy and relieved, guys :thumbs: It took them forever, but finally VSC came through - YAAAAAY!!! So I was quite surprised as my NOA is March 1st even though I sent the application on Feb 28th. I guess that means they are slowly moving into March. Good luck to all of you!
