We just got a hard copy of the same letter in the mail, and it included a new biometrics appointment notice for 7/29. I still can't believe they lost her signature, and we had to inquire about the missing card before they told us that and scheduled a new biometrics appointment. At least it appears we won't have to pay them any more money.

We're still waiting for my wife's green card, after getting approved on May 12. We called a couple of weeks ago to find out what happened, and they finally got back to us via email today. They claim to have lost my wife's signature, so she needs to go back in for another biometrics appointment. Unfortunately, they refer to the "enclosed biometrics appointment notice", but it's not in the email. We're hoping they're going the mail the notice soon. No word on whether we'll have to pay a second biometrics fee. Anybody else dealt with repeating biometrics?

I just wish the online system would show more updates. So annoying, if our letter saying we'd been referred to the local office had been lost, we would have had no idea.

How hard can it be to update the system any time a major event takes place?

- Biometrics appointment scheduled

- Biometrics received

- Case referred to local office

- Interview date scheduled

I agree, updating the case would certainly help avoid unnecessary frustration. As more and more people were approved, I started to wonder if there was a problem or if our information had gotten lost. There was never anything to reflect that they received the biometrics, our only update was when we were actually approved.

:) Hello All,

Just popping in for a quickie, to see how everything is progressing. Shocked to see an approval for March VSC. :wow:

Even though the Army may have had its hand in the approval process, its still nice to see one on the list.

Hope all is well with everyone and we'll check back again soon.

Keep on truckin, y'all!!! B-)

We have already passed biometrics, yet the online tracking systems shows our status as "Initial Review"? Not sure if this is accurate so it would be great if fellow March filers at VSC could share what their online profiles are saying. Thanks.

I think ours stayed in that state, until "card production ordered", so that sounds normal to me.

Yup, that's all it will say apparently until they make their decision. We've done biometrics and had our case referred to the local office to conduct an interview, and it still just shows "initial review" online.
