Hi Guys! So glad things are moving along for you all. I will be a May filer and realise this is the March forum, but was hoping you may be able to tell me if I have to send an additional processing fee for my son when I send in my form. I know I have the additional cost of paying his biometrics, but do I need to pay for the form submission for him too as he will be on mine? I would appreciate any info you could give me.

March 30th - received SSN

April 25th - Married

April 27th - Changed name on SSN

May 12th - AOS paperwork sent

Aug 20th - Interview in Philly

Aug 21st - GC production ordered

Aug 31st - Rec'd son's GC

Sept 2nd - Rec'd my GC ....all set for 2 years now

June 27th NOA date

July 2nd Packet returned as section not filled in correctly---how stupid am I?!?!?

July 5th Packet sent back (overnight delivery) to USCIS with form filled in correctly

August 18th Biometrics Appointment in Philly........JULY 27TH EARLY BIOMETRICS DONE

Nearly 1 year later!!!
....received notification for my son to get biometrics done!(May 15th 2012)

May 11th 2012 Son's biometrics done early

June 2012 - Notice of lifting of conditions received

June 12th - texts- GC in production

June 13th - text- GC in post

June 15th - Received GC's!!!!!!

I just did the biometrics on April, 04/2011

My documents were sent sometime in March/2011, they receive on March 17/2011

I did not received the extension letter...does anyone knows why that happens?

You need NOA1, it extend your GC for up to one year, while your ROC is processing. Call USCIS

As your son is included in your application you only need to pay for his Biometric fee.

Got the approval letter in the mail... no surprise, since we already saw the case status change online (as previously posted), but it's nice to see the word "approved" on USCIS stationary!

One question: This letter (and all the previous I-751 correspondence) has been addressed with an abbreviation of my wife's name. (Example: "J SMITH".) Is that the way it is for everyone? The notice says to call if any of the information is incorrect, and we're wondering if it's worth it to call about this. If other people are receiving letters addresses similarly, we won't worry about it.

Yes, our approval letter had the same thing initial of first name and complete last name, they've been doing it since our AOS Approval.

Updating my info for early bio done on May 17, 2011.

No issues - we had travel arrangements already made for the original date. Showed our e-tickets but still don't think it would have been a problem even if we just showed up early without a reason.

On May 12, 2011, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

I received my approval letter yesterday in the mail :dance: :dance: Hopefully the 10 years GC will be in the mail today.

Updating my info for early bio done on May 17, 2011.

No issues - we had travel arrangements already made for the original date. Showed our e-tickets but still don't think it would have been a problem even if we just showed up early without a reason.

Did you go to the Varick Street office, Nedino? If so, what time?
