Hey!

I've been reading the pinned threads etc. Am I understanding this right? We only have to submit copies of the tax forms? No other proof of relationship with the N400 application?

That seems too easy...

Feb 28/2011 - sent paperwork

Mar 3/11 - received text & email notification - they have it!

Mar 15/11 - text, email, and notice sent - biometrics booked

April 12/11 - biometrics done - I start studying

May - get the letter

June 27 - Interview and oath ceremony - same day

Lifting Conditions

Feb 5/08 - Sent paperwork by USPS - priority

Feb 14/08 - NOA issued

Feb 28/08 - Biometrics letter received for The Bronx Office - have to reschedule

Mar 22/08 - Biometrics rescheduled - LOVE the Saturday appointment!

Feb ?/09 - done!

I'M HIGHLY OPINIONATED WHEN I WANT TO BE, BUT I NEVER SAID I WAS RIGHT

Did you read the instructions and the guides for the N400?

Hint: all immigration documents (I-130, I-131, I-485, I-765) start with an I, whereas all naturalization documents (N-400, N-445 start with an N. Yes it's a totally different ballgame in so many ways, and it's one that is difficult to lose.

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. That seems too easy...

Referring to the three year marriage privileged? USCIS works under the assumption you never visited them before, you got your green card out of a Cracker Jack box. Its a combination of the AOS, I-751, and all new evidence of your relationship all over again. Even proof of your divorce and marriage. Get a wheel barrel.

I took it that way too - I copied my last 3 years of transcripts and got a letter from the bank indicating our joint account, when they were opened...blah blah blah. I included a few more items 'just because' I thought they showed good proof that we co habitate...like copies of our drivers licenses which were both recently issued showing our current address, a copy of my Cdn passport which shows my married name...but honestly they probably weren't needed.

I will have just a few more items when I go to the interview which show co mingled finances...copies of paystubs which show we both deposit into the same accounts and have for the last 3+ years, and a copy of our deed to our house with our names on it. I may bring along copies of bills which show both our names over the last 3 yrs...they'd be easy enough to dig up.

It seems so straight forward that it almost fools ya...nothing like what we've had to provide for AOS and ROC anyway!

PS - and of course I included the necessary photos and copy of the GC...those were a given
