Had such a busy Monday, read the posts here but didnt even have time to write. News update, I finally sent out our IV package. I read in another forum that even though the Cairo embassy is closed, NVC is still forwarding the cases to them. I guess thats good. At least as soon as the reasume with the visas again our will be already there and I can only hope for a quick interview date in April or May.

Hoping everyone has a good week.

Wow, Got the checklist email the same night I found out and sent it the next day. They received earlier this morning. Just found out my spouse's DS-230 was accepted with no problems and entered into the system. Shouldn't take much longer for a CC now.

Thank you, Saylin. Just filled in the timeline. I hope there are not RFEs and the case completes next week. NVC's AVR has that awful message that 'some information is missing and that they have sent a 'letter' on the 17th'. I talked to an operator earlier this week, and she said that message is probably just talking about Package IV not scanned into the system. I hope that's what it is, and not an RFE. I haven't received anything is mail so far! Knock on wood!!!

That's most likely a false RFE for the IV package like the operator said. Good luck!

I hope so too! We are keeping our fingers crossed!

I have seen many mention the dates their AOS or IV package documents were scanned into NVC's system? How do you guys come to know that? By talking to an NVC operator?

Sometimes the AVR updates to reflect when they receive the packages, but it might not. Mine never did. Your best best is to talk to an operator as often as possible. A few days after I sent my last package, I called an operator up every single day to find out any news.

That's what I do. I call and talk to an operator every other day and ask questions. After TSC, I've been pro-active on processes now. I have that urge to know what exactly is going on with the paperwork. I'm just glad they don't take down notes how many times I call haha.

Actually, they do. They make a note in the computer everytime you call (if you give them the case number that is) :)
