Should I wait until I get a RFE (as I think they will have a copy if I sent a copy with my I130 showing no 2 year residency) or send it now (a cover letter i typed along with the cover letter from the nvc payment portal) ?

If you sent the J1 paperwork with the I-130 and you're not subject to the residency requirement, you might be okay. I'm not sure if NVC will see this or not though. Perhaps calling an operator up on Monday and asking would be your best bet to see if you do need to send another copy to NVC.

Grats on emailing the optin. You should probably hear of the acceptance in about 2 weeks. Mine took 16 days from sending out the original.

NVC is a lot smoother (and faster) than USUCKS (USCIS)... but... after the pain from CSC-TSC-CSC... our patience are about shot LOL

Why is it unreadable? Or it is just an old copy?

Not necessarily. For our case, the AOS fee was only available two days after getting our case number. Technically it was only one day since NVC was closed the day after I got my case number due to weather.

Hi guys. Just checking i again. Since I sent the paperwork last Friday, I guess I just have to look at what's next to do and expect, while praying we dont get an RFE. Will be stalking Dan-tes on how he did things after CC. (Paging Dan-Tes :D ) Hopefully there are Filipino versions of Saylin too..( Filipino VJ Immigrant Expert), who will always be willing to assist abt questions with the consulate. Knowing VJ, I'm sure there are.

It just dawned on me that after NVC, we TSC hostages are on different routes now...
