Got my foot in the door at NVC, same old drill, call back in a week for the case number...yeah right!

Don't listen to them! The first time I called for my number, the operator said call back next week as well. I called the very next day and got my case number! Thank god I didn't listen to that first operator

Yes, NVC operators always give you weeks and weeks completely at random , wander if they think it actually works

Just had AOS shown as paid so will send this off asap, however I do not have the IV bill yet, how long does this take?

Talked too quickly, IV bill just invoiced and paid. Now need to wait for that one to clear

I been calling the NVC and they said 4 weeks to enter case on the system from the date of my NOA2 Notification and No Munber yet this is insane .I even feel bad calling everyday.

I call in the Mornings from my office maybe i should try at night

Question for you.... the IV & AOS forms were delivered to my lawyer, and I paid the fees today. She (the lawyer) will forward the packet/payment on to the NVC,,, what typically happens next?

Once the lawyer sends the documents, call the AVR and operator as often as you want (I called an operator every single day, and still do to now get an interview date) to see what's going on with your case. Once you get a SIF, call and see if your case is complete. Basically, more waiting for about 2 weeks.

It's when you get the sign in fail message at the payment portal. It's a good indication that your case is complete at NVC.

Ah, yes. Your lawyer uses this payment portal to pay the bills. You can find it here: https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/signon.aspx
