The processing time for an I130 is APPROXIMATELY 5 months (the phone operators won't be afraid to let you know either). Honestly 7 months isn't that drastic and happens to thousands of petitions daily. Also you are barely past the 1st month hurdle so you shouldn't be panicking anyway.

This is normal for all interviews in Armenia.

Don't sweat this, ah ?

Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

he could go back and edit his timeline, then edit his member profile, to 'home the country' properly.

i just saw your timeline after you posting this comment and you know what i was not surprised looking at your comments. everyone by now knows that CSC to TSC transfers was a big fiasco(and i think you are one of them?), even USCIS accepted the fact and are trying to process all those in Feb.

so you coming back and saying 7 months is the new normal or is not drastic is not true, may be it is not drastic for you but it is definitely 7 months is a drastic time to me and most of the filers, you also say it is only one month that i have filed but yes i feel like it has been years since i have been away from my spouse.

yeah if the whole process is taking 7 months (USCIS, NVC, Inteeview) then what you are saying could be fine.

But after the USCIS step you know there is NVC and then the consulate interview that take few more months.

and by the way why you people are going off-topic here? read the headline clearly that some filer in Jan already got approval so i am just hoping i will get mine too soon but i am highlighting VJ timeline because it keeps going up and up everyday. ( may be because of you CSC-TSC-CSC filers getting approvals and updating the timelines).

she means 7 months to PETITION APPROVAL.

there's stuff afterwards, where you control the time and turn around.
