I didn't pick the date until Sujeet's visa was approved(July 04), and yeah I guess it was my first choice.

Hi Stina of stina and suj,

I just saw that your hubby received his visa on July 4 2004 and my hubby received his visa July 4 2005, what a coincidence. Same month and day one yr apart

We got married on March 1, 2005

Hmm well the church picked our wedding date, somehow i think it may have been a take it or leave it kinda of date.

After jumping through all the hoops in Egypt my hubby and i was told on February 28, 2005@ 2:30 pm ok your wedding is set for tommorrow night (March 1st) at 9 pm. So we rushed to his parents home and started calling friends and family, some were able to make it while others weren't.

It was a wonderful wedding(even though i got lipstick on my wedding dress before the wedding while getting out of the car to enter the church)

We were initially hoping to get married around Canadian Thanksgiving (early October 2004), but due to the lovely immigration process we had to push back the date. Because of that, my then very pregnant sister-in-law couldn't come to the ceremony -- thank goodness for a fantastic videographer! I suppose we could have held off and waited for a couple of months, but it all worked out well the way we set it up. :)

We got married on May 18th. It wasn't really our first choice. I had to get approval for time off at work so we just did it when I got off. We got married at the courthouse in Orlando and weren't sure what we would have to do in order to get married. We were just shooting for any day the week we were in Orlando.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

We were married on 29th July.....13th March was the date we wanted as it is the day after his birthday and the day before mine......but because of the delay in his divorce we watched the date come and go 3 times :( and then we didn't want to wait almost another year before we got married.

I always loved the month of September. Being from the NE it was just that beautiful time. September 03 was also when I met Abdel, so as corny as it sounded, we kinda wanted to be married around the time we met. As with others, immigration got in the way and the 3 tenative dates we had set came and went. Once he finally got his K1 we wound up right where we started - September lol... We even woundup with a date on the day we actually met Sept 20th... then of course a hurricane changed all that... after an evacuation to another city, we were able to put together something very beautiful in our evac city the next day!
