We got married March 6th, 2004...

It wasn't my first choice... I had always wanted a wedding in May or June.....

Our wedding was kind of spur of the moment.... My hubby was coming for a visit the end Of January, 2004 and he surprised me by saying he wanted to get married then... when he asked it was about 2 or 3 weeks until his visit....

I thought about it and told him that there was no way I could pull off a wedding in that amount of time... :no: .. so I managed to get him to hold off until March... I didn't want to push it for May or June :lol:... Hey, if a guy wants to marry you, you have to make some sacrifices... :whistle:....

June 4, 2005. we originally had planned to get married in October, 2005...but our K-1 was approved faster than we had anticipated, and we just couldn't stand to be apart any longer. October would have been better, because then his family could have afforded airfare to attend the wedding. :(

I agree :yes::lol:

We were planning a spring wedding (April 3rd), an actual ceremony. But due to lack of funds we had to make a wiser decision...so we called the courthouse and made an appointment to be married Valentine's week (Fri. Feb. 17th 2006). I still can't believe we've been married over 6 months already :luv:

It's Nov 23 for us. I have never thought I would ever get married, so it's our first choice.

Awww how sweet (L)

I never thought I'd marry either (I always saw myself living with my cat :lol:) but life had a surprise for me

We chose May 20th to coincide with my parents being in the States so they could attend the wedding without another trip.

It's also one of my best friend's birthdays. As my friends couldn't make it to the wedding, I figured every year while they are out celebrating her birthday, they can toast our wedding too - as they did on the day.

Although next year we're going to be in the UK for our anniversary, having another reception with them all!
