USC Full-Time student.....

Hi everyone,

I hope that everyone is having a wonderful Friday.

I am a F1-Student and I recently got married to a USC but the thing is that he is unemployed since June 2010 because he is a full-time student just like myself. He usually has a crazy schedule (he takes too many classes at the same time) but I've been working on campus for a year now. I already have a sponsor who makes about $25-30,000 a year and when we filed our taxes jointly we came up to $11,000. Is it a big deal if my husband doesn't work even if I have a sponsor and work myself???

Thank you for your consideration!

It's fine. Husband is primary sponsor, even if income is zero, and your co-sponsor would need to qualify on their own (sounds like they do if they are single). Good luck!

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!
