My wife's case was transferred to CSC today (2/25). I'm just curious how often RFEs are received after a transfer to CSC? The timelines filled out here list Transfer after RFEs and I was wondering if that was because you're likely to not get any RFEs once the case has been tranferred.

I'm tentatively confident that I wouldn't get one anyway, but I wondered if having the case transferred essentially closes the door on that possibility?

No it doesn't close the door on anything. You can even get an RFE at the interview (if you have one). Once the file is transferred to CSC it can STILL be transferred back to your home office for interview.

I would guess a good number of RFEs happen after the transfer. Initially contractors are opening the mail and checking that the application has the basics like the application, the payment, everything signed, etc. An adjudicator won't be evaluating your evidence until he looks at it at CSC. That's when he might find things that require more evidence before he can grant approval.
