Presentation of Evidence at the Interview

Hello Everyone. I have a question. My fiance' soon has her interview and we have a ton of evidence (10 kgs of chats/emails; photos; 12 trips together, including one to Europe; and our relationship is now 3 1/2 year old, she speaks English fluently, and she has no relatives stateside). I presume our red-flag is that my divorce was finalized just a month before we sent in the I-129F. I know, that could be a significant one. Anyway, we are nearly finished putting the evidence together, but I have a question. When my fiance' enters the Consulate, should she present our timeline (which is 5 pages long and notarized) and our 10-year residence histories on the top to ensure it's looked at by the CO? It seems that when there is blue, these are the documents requested. Many people come with these documents that are never looked at, then requested later.

Secondly, my fiance' asked why she needs to prepare a 10-year residency document when she already did that in one of the forms (I forget the name of it). Why is this? I just assumed it's because the form she completed may never be looked at.

I'd appreciate your help. Anyone in Saigon the weekend of March 18-20?

you don't need the 10 year residenct at the time of the initial interview. it is not one of the necessary documents. Because many people have been blue slipped requesting the 10 year residency, many others have taken the liberty of including it in their proof of relationship paperwork. The consulate can blue slip you for many reasons, if you include the 10 year residency, hopefully it will eliminate of of the reasons. good luck

They will usually only accept what they ask for at the interview.. its not easy to get anything not specifically requested submitted at that stage. You really need to somehow address the fact that you were married for all of that time and that the marriage was not active/functional. There is no doubt that they would normally think it was a relationship for immigration based on the timeline of divorce.. been there done that... as many old photos of you two together as possible.. she will need to be really prepared to explain your previous relationship...
