its not too bad......... just a little bit of rain... alberto caused alot of flooding. this storm doesnt seem to be as bad. thank God! :)

Here, 20 Miles east of Raleigh, there's nothing so far.....except a little light rain. Even the previous weather system has gone.

Ernesto will be finding his way into Virginia today, peeps, fingers

crossed for us, ok? School has already been cancelled for the day. They have forecasted terrible storms in the mountains here and expecting major flooding. My husband has already been told that he's working a 12 hour shift today. (Works for the highway dept. of VDOT) It looks black as night out there...and eerily, very very quiet....

Some coastal areas in NC have had fourteen and a half inches of rain overnight ! That's a LOT of water !

By 2pm the center of the storm will be in Virginia, they have just said on the TV news.
