Just got off the phone with a friend that is undergoing the process with Foreign Spouse and she asked me what exactly is it that USCIS/NVC and Consulates are looking for and how much information they really can find on a couple? I told her that they are looking for name checks and also check the USC to see if they are eligible to petition on behalf of the Foreign Spouse... I wasn't sure of what else to tell her BUT I have read a a lot here on VJ and whether or not it is all TRUE I am not sure. I once read that they can find anything about the two of you. I then thought to myself, why would they be looking for info that doesn't apply to the process. I have read that they read this website (VJ) and also Social Websites such as MySpace, Twitter, Facebook etc.

I told her that if you are who you say you are then there shouldn't be anything to worry about. If anyone has an insight and have more detailed info that I can tell her that would be great. I guess I have lead a guilt free life and boring as well and do not meant o toot my own horn BUT I have led a pretty straight forward and trouble free life!
