Messy Up sent my wife DS-3032 from my email

#######...I sent the OPTIN Electronic filing email with my wife DS-3032 pdf file from my email. Instead I should have her sent it to the NVC people.

Dumb mistake...what to do now, call the NVC or wait about 6-7 days to see if they actually process my EP step.

Well just wait and see if they will accept / reject it. You can Always send it again from her email.. if at the time they are processing it then they will advise that the Agent of Choice was appointed.

Here is the first email automatic responds from the NVC when I sent from my email address

"This is an automated response. Please do not respond to this email.

The NVC has received your e-mail. We are currently processing in the

order of receipt. Please allow 10 business days for a response.

Please be advised that sending duplicate emails for opt in and mailing

documents via delivery service may have an adverse affect on the amount

of time it takes for us to process your case."

If you notices the last sentence stating "Please be advised that sending duplicate emails for opt in and mailing documents via delivery service may have a adverse affect on the amount...."

My wife just sent the email again from her email and got the same responds...so I guess I better call them tomorrow...geezz...and just ask a What if question...

No worries......they're just swamped.......it took them a week or better to acknowledge ours last week so hold on, they'll get to it but it takes some time due to the workload they have. Best of luck!!!

It sounds like you are not sending it to the correct email address.I sent my forms via email and had the confirmation the next morning. This was 3 days ago. Good luck

It does not matter!!! It is fine to send documents from either yours or your wife's. You do not have to resend them, which may cause delays. My husband sent out my DS3032 from his email address and I sent out our AOS and IV documents through my email address. All goes well and we get responses without any problem with NVC. For NVC, they just want to know the submiited documents for which case!

Yes, NVCElectronic@state.gov is correct!

Well now its a waiting game. I sent a second email with 12 hours of the first. And now that I read Xiaozhu post now im thinking it will case a delay. To late...now its a waiting thing...,..

Do not worry! I said "may cause delays", then also may not -). We get our new case number (for EP) from NVC in about 20 days since we sent out OPTIN email.

Since we're not at an electronic filing sight I sent it to......NVCINQUIRY@state.gov as specified in LingChe's shortcuts. Maybe the crew processing was on an "extended lunch" or doing other duties and got caught up. Sometimes there's no rhyme or reasoning involved in this process (just insanity..nothing to worry about!!) They processed all our requests within 24 hours, just took them a while to do it.
