Do you think they will look more into the fact that we have a K-1 Visa in progress?

That will be part of it because it already shows intent to immigrate to the USA. But its mostly due to her country.

Yes that can happen, officer at POE can see your K1 in process and refuse her entry.

No, I dont think you would be able to expedite on situation in Syria, most likely CO is gonna say does that effect her? Is the situation in Syria life threatening to her? She live in CA where she is safe, so she would would not need expediated process.

She is going to be in AP for the K1.

Why would what is going on in Syria affect her if she is living in Canada? That doesn't make sense

So....no, that is a HUGE long shot because it doesn't directly affect her safety or health

Good luck

PS - Boiler is right, she'll be in AP for her K-1 too

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to let you all know that it took about 10 days from the interview for her to get the Visiting Visa. And they asked her only a couple questions at the POE... she made it in!!!

She's here in the US with me and is staying for about 10 days then she'll go back to Canada.

But to all the people who say it is hard to get a Visiting visa while K-1 is processing... it was super easy for us (Thank God)!

Thanks to everyone who helped out!
