When we filed our Petition I only sent pictures as proof, in hopes that there would be less proof needed since the Beneficiary is from Canada (WRONG). The worst part is that we don't have much of anything else even though we visited each other about twice a month.

I am trying to get my bank statements for an account I closed a few months ago even though I'm not sure there will be much on it if anything.

I will also be sending an application to get all of my entries and exists from the US but I don't know if that will help since my passport is not always scanned and never stamped.

We have car rental receipts that show how many km he drove, and when I pull up driving directions from car rental place to my house the kilometres are close to whats on the receipt. Can this work?

Is any of this going to work? What are the chances of not getting RFE? 0%? :crying:

:wow: that's great to hear! I'm glad it worked for someone.

I do hope we don't get an RFE, I'll try to have something if we do, but you just made my wait easier, at least I know it's possible.

Thank you! :)

Get proof of hotel receipts. If you stayed with family get certified statements from them showing your stay and family members in the home. i had to do this for my trip to Morocco. Show bank statemetns for the time you are in country especially if you took money out of ATM or spent any in the country. Even if morder does not stamp paspoe, they have to keep record of your crossing so you might want to check as they write license plate down. Anything else to prove your visit is good.

When we filed our Petition I only sent pictures as proof, in hopes that there would be less proof needed since the Beneficiary is from Canada (WRONG). The worst part is that we don't have much of anything else even though we visited each other about twice a month.

Do you guys send e-mails? Print those out. What about cell-phone bills or home phone? Highlight his number on the statement you receive. What about mail? Ever receive a card from him? Those can work too.

Don't worry about it, you haven't receive an RFE, so you're probably stressing yourself over nothing. But you might want to start gathering evidence for your interview though. Good luck!

This is an issue often talked about in the Cdn forum but seldom do K1's get RFE's for not enough evidence of meeting. My husnad and I came back and forth over the border many times, but like you said - no stamps and no proof (This is Canada for gawd's sake!)

Cdn's do not seem to be under the same level of scrutiny as other countries when it comes to proof of relationship. Pictures can be ok, but anythign can be photoshopped these days.

I sent some pictures, some envelopes which showed the dates and that we were sending things back and forth. We photonopied our Credit cards for the number and then had receipts which showed us using said cards in eachother's cities at various restaurants etc. I did not print off emails or chat logs...I consider those personal.

emails and phone bills are proof of ongoing relationship, not proof of meeting in person. as in, you don't have to meet to email and use the phone. these are two different things! in any case you have to include both types of evidence.

The only other thing than photos that we had for our proof of meeting was a letter each from our bosses stating that they had met both of us on numerous occasions (in person) and were aware of our relationship and our intent to marry each other. We never received an RFE and actually received NOA2 quite quickly :)

We had the same for our petition. Some pictures of us together and of our wedding. We also had a letter from my dad and one from our good friend stating when they knew of our relationship, that they were at our wedding and are in an ongoing relationship. No RFEs.

Met in 2004 at a Dave Matthews Band concert, started dating November 2005, engaged February 2009 and married November 14, 2009. Together in the US on March 19th 2011
