Hi everyone, looking for some help.

My fiancee received her Package 3 yesterday and on the letter I noticed her birtdate was wrong (10/xx/xxxx versus the actual date of 11/xx/xxxx - only the month was wrong, not the day or year). I went back and checked the I-129F and in fact I put in the wrong month. I also checked the G-325A (Biographic Information) and the birthdate was entered there correctly.

So here is the question, should my fiancee call the embassy now and tell them of the error? Should she send back the completed Package 3 and let them know of the error in a letter? Or should we just wait until the interview and point out the error then?

My preference would be to wait until the interview and point out the error. Concerned we would be put back into administrative hell if we pointed it out now.

Thoughts?

I would simply ignore it. Your fiance will have the passport with him at the interview and the birth certificate...it's an honest mistake...no one will accuse you of trying to mislead the USCIS or any other agency. I say you don't do anything. Good luck!
