Dumb I-134 Question

I am gathering my financials, now. My lawyer seems to have a different idea of what I need from what the USCIS website says. I'm not planning on doing this twice! USCIS says I need a letter from my employer, which is me. I have written a very formal letter on my office stationary that details my incorporation date, base salary, benefits, etc. I also have three personal and corporate tax returns, bank statements, incorporation papers, check stubs, and bank letters. How can a letter from myself be helpful? Any ideas on any other things I should include? I am safely over the income requirements, but want to also include my child support, which is not related to self-employment. Good idea, bad idea? I have seen questions asked about support. Is it too soon to send off to my guy? Will statements be out of date. I can always follow up with up to date check stubs.

If self employed then no letter from employer.

Bank statements going back 6 months showing deposits and complete tax returns or transcripts should do.

If your personal tax returns show an income a safe amount above that needed then you don't really need to include anything else, such as child support. If it is very close to the needed amount then you can give your fiance as much evidence as possible and he can then present the extra evidence if it is asked for.

If you don't yet have your 2010 tax return that will probably be something you need to send over later.
