received from the USCIS.

*** Please do not respond to this e-mail message.

Sincerely,

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)

Now, we received our receipt notice two months ago for my husband and nothing has been changed since on our case. My husband had his biometrics and everything done already. I was confused so I called the USCIS and talked to a very nice man and he told me that our case had been transferred. I asked him if this meant that it went to CSC and we won't have an interview and he said that it doesn't say where it went it just was transferred to another office because Cleveland was taking too long and was really backed up and that there was no guarantee that we won't have an interview. He said that we would receive a letter saying where it was transferred in a few days.So my question is did anyone else have this happen before they were transferred to CSC or just happen at all. If anyone has any answers or ideas that would be great! :D I want to be excited but I am not sure if I should be yet!

Thanks

what is the email address in the 'from' line? If you see CSC anywhere in the address from where the email was sent, then yes, you were transferred to CSC.

Hopefully your case was transferred. although that does look like the new generic email that is sent out.. I think I had a similar email and my case was not transferred to CSC..

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

I received exactly the same e-mail IN JUNE already. I as well thought for a long time that it meant my case had been transferred to CSC, but a couple of weeks ago I decided it probably wasn't true since "CSC" is nowhere to be found in the message..... :(

As I said, I received the transfer message in the beginning of June, then I recently had a "touch" in my online account at USCIS, and that was it. Nothing else happened. (I had filed mid-March, biometrics were beginning of April).

So, in my opinion, that e-mail doesn't necessarily mean good news :(

Good luck,

CWR,

Maybe you should call USCIS because the guy I talked told me that we would receive a letter in a few days. Maybe by now they know where it is.

I find it so hard to believe the these people don't know where my case was sent to. They know that it was transferred but they don't know where. That is so weird. It doesn't say anywhere on the email either. The only other thing that I can think of is that it was sent to another district office and they sent me the email saying that it was received even though they don't say which office. I guess we just have to continue waiting and being patient and only time will tell. Thanks for all you help everyone! I'll let ya know what the letter says!
