Great Analogy which describes the current state for Ghana and Lagos! I am glad for folks going thru the Lagos Embassy...The Ghana post, well, yeah to say on ice would be an accurate depictition..although I have to say in Acrra's favor, I called and spoke to a woman there and she told me about my case that they are still processing it...She says that they received my email requesting my brother in law to pick up packet three and said that they sent an email back to with their response. I told I never received an email back from them so she told me to send another email with my brother in law's contact information. After I do that, they will send a postal mail him which is called a "call back" letter in which he will need to bring with him down to the embassy so he can pick up the packet 3 for us. I hope and pray that they send him this call back letter soon! The woman I spoke to on the phone was very helpful and polite.

So while Ghana maybe moving slow at this time, when I spoke to a consular officer, she was very nice and helpful which helped ease my stress this!
