Moving to AOS from Work/Student/TOURIST visa forum.

All posts where I-130 is being filed along with I-485 tend to be posted in that forum.

I would be looking for a better joint sponsor, $8,000 is not enough.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

8,000$ doesn't cover a 2 person home for the I-846 poverty guidelines. A 2 person home comes in at $18,212. You will need a better sponsor.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

How much does your husband make? It doesn't matter if he didn't make a penny in previous years, as long as he can demonstrate why he wasn't required to file a return. If you have a letter from his employer about his employment offer (hours, pay, etc) and a couple of paystubs, and he makes enough for his household ($18,212 for 2 people) then that's good enough.

Otherwise, you'll need to find a better co-sponsor.
