We just completed the biometrics portion of AOS and are working on evidence for interview.

Here is what we have so far:

Joint 2010 income tax forms.

Joint checking account.

American Express card

Costco account

and of course, the most important of all her name on water bill, lol.

Is this enough, getting her name on the electric bill, mortgate will be a big pain, is that necessary?

TIA

If file gets transferred to USCIS California, it may not get an interview.

It is understood not much can happen between marriage, and interviewing for AOS, USCIS expects this an more to happen by the time you remove conditions, two years after AOS approval.

Looks like enough evidence if an interview happens.

My fiancee arrived in Jan 2010, we were married in March and filed AOS in November. All I submitted for proof of relationship was Joint Bank Account, Medical Insurance Card (showing my wife on my plan), and some pictures of the two of us together, with family and with friends.

Biometrics was just before Christmas and end of December her case was transferred to CSC. We ended up with no interview and she received her GC.

Our plan is to prepare for Removal of Conditions and interview at that time by accumulating additional joint ownership things over the next 20 months.

Each case is unique to itself so comile what you can. Try not to stress over it too much.

Best Wishes and Good Luck,

Bernie

Thanks for the input. I am very confident we have enough evidence already, but she is a little worried, especially about having her name on the water bill. I would think joint returns, bank accounts, health insurance card would be more substantial than a water bill.

Do you check if the case has been transferred to CSC at egov.uscis.gov?

It's only been 9 days since biometrics, so I didn't expect to see any results yet.

Yes, the USCIS site will indicate a transfer, you should also get a mail notice, and if you signup for email notifications that too will tell you.
