my wife has her interview for octuber 24th

my question is after the interview if is aprove can she go out of the country? or she has to wait for the green card

any advise will be great

She can ask for a passport stamp to use before the permanent resident card arrives.

Your profile indicates K1, is her visa K1 visa? If so you will have to file I-131 application for a travel document (advance parole) at time of AOS to get the travel document. K1 visa is a single entry visa.

Did you read his post? He is asking about AFTER the AOS interview. You cannot travel on AP after permanent residence approval.

You have a quick trigger for telling him to read the guides when you didn't really even read what he was asking

Hey ivan:

She will probably get her green card in a couple weeks so there is no need to absolutely have the stamp in the passport but you can request it at the time of the interview. But many of them don't stamp passports anyway, so don't be disaapointed if they don't. Good Luck

Say hello to Clara from Johanna and I. Motu is correct, once she gets approved. Ask for the stamp. If she gets the stamp and it is hard to get, she can travel the next day. If she does not get the stamp she has to wait until she has the GC. :yes:
