I have teh same problem as Mau77. I am pleased to announce that MY Fiancee and I have finally recived teh NOA2 after about 6 months. The problem is that she lived in Argentina for 18 months on a missionary trip for our church. I have seen two segestiones here. One is wrtie to the police department in Argentina the other is to go through teh embassy. Which is the correct way? Also we would likie to know soon so we may get this done as soon as possible. Thanks everybody for your help :) i couldn´t have gotten this far without the help of this site.

All right all, I took lvcouple's advice for this, and have tried it out with the U.S. Embassy in Fiji... I sent them an e-mail asking if I/my fiance could fill out forms online or such in order to get our police report. Looks like you can do a simple Google search like "U.S. Embassy [country you need]" and they should have a contact e-mail there. I actually called up USCIS (could never get an operator so I said I needed to "get forms" and then took advantage of the lady that answered - lol, that sounds bad!) and they said that you should talk with the specific country's police depts. However, it made more sense to me to get in touch with the Embassy since they are the ones handling the visa processes (and due to what lv said). Will let you all know how it goes, I wrote the Consulate in Suva from this page - http://suva.usembassy.gov/immigrant_visas.html

New Zealand I'm still not sure about, think I'm going to take Kiwi's word on it though that's so unfair. :( Will have my fiance call up the Auckland Consulate just to see if we can't do anything now. Hopefully if we DO have to wait for some specific form they won't take long processing it.

Yes Mau he can go to the local cop shop in Sydney good idea to ring first and make an appointment and he goes in for his fingerprints to be done and pays and fills in the form . They then send it off and get them to mail back to him as he will need it to send in with his documents.Go get that done now as it takes 4 weeks to get it back and book the medical as well. Keep us informed ok

Fiance is going to head to the police dept this Monday and will ring up the doctor too. Thanks for all your help! Will keep you up to date.
