Not true. All I-129F petitions now go through Texas, and are forwarded on from there to the appropriate Servic Center. No pre-approval happens in Texas. And VSC is far more backlogged than CSC.

Happy for the OP, but this is just another example of the unfairness by USCIS of the processing of petitions

Automation would remove all unfairness from the process. Nobody would touch the file until it reached the CO desk at the interview stage. This USCIS system is totally DYSFUNCTIONAL. The entire process should take no more than 30 days and automated filing would make it happen.

I have received the E-mail from USCIS this afternoon regarding Post Decision Activity,and it says as followes.

" Application Type: I129F , PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Your Case Status: Post Decision Activity

On February 22, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations."

My question is am I on right track or am I faster than normal?

I read many applicants talking about 150 or more days of waiting for approval.

1/26/2011 Application Accetance notice and Transfered to CSC

2/22/2011 Post Decision Activity Notice

This is a very fast approval. My 129 was over 4 months and we waited 11 months for the 130

Thats great My friend who did one for his fiance (From Columbia) was approved in under a month at CSC also I have tried to get him to join here and post it. I just hope it continues like that Probably not but would be nice. Again Congrats Daniel

For several months, majority of us K-1 filers have waited and is still waiting for NOA2s. For about a couple of weeks now, there has been a noticeable amount of NOA2's that was approved from less than 1 month to 2 months. Congratulations to these folks. Most of these petitioners were surprised to say the least. I know, curiosity kills the cat, but I can't stop wondering what's going on with CSC? Does anybody know what's going on?

My theory is that they forgot where they were and just started over with month number 1.

This is very true. I can't help but be a little green. However, I know that there are people in the SC's doing work. I'll take it. Happy filing to all my other VJ family members... and good luck to the OP on the rest of their journey!

That is amazing on how fast that was.

I was just looking and 5 of the last 15 VJ approvals have been from January filers.

Hope that continues for us February filers lol.
