Anyone here have any experience with emailing the consulate in Saigon? How long does it usually takes for them to answer an email? It's been over a week and I still haven't got an answer from them? I know that they say don't send the same email twice or it will take longer, but I'm about to do it again because it's like two weeks now. Any one have any ideas, please let me know. Thanks

The consulate does not seem to be consistent. For example, they never acknowledged our submission of P3, but we had P4 one month later. I received one email 5 1/2 weeks after we sent it, but on the other hand we had an urgent medical question and they responded in less than one week via email. I think the "rule of thumb" is to NOT trust a quick answer from the consulate. Do not plan based on you waiting to hear back from them. There is enough experience and expertise on this forum, and in the legal community, to hopefully answer your queries.

2 weeks at best in our case.. thats when they did actually respond... depending on the case and how many previous emails sent, they may stop responding over time...
