I got 2 passport photos taken the other day, then decided I'd better send 6 with my AOS package. Is it ok if I use scanned photocopies of the original photos?

I know some people have said it's ok to send only 2 photos, but others have said 6, so I just want to be on the safe side.

I-485 + 2 pics

I-765 + 2 pics

I-131 + 2 pics

Each application needs to be treated as if being sent separately, they do not share anything like passport photos.

Copies if printed on photo quality paper, and are clean can be used.

When I got my picture taken (at Walgreens if I remember) the teller gave me the option of having multiple copies printed. Maybe you can go back and ask them for more...

I went to Walgreens and its $8.99 to have passport pictures taken and you only get 2. For $26.97 I could have gotten all six but I only did the two photos. I am curious about only sending 2 as well. I may have to go back and get the other 4 and pay the difference if it is gonna be an issue with the forms.

Passport photos cost me less than 50 cents each, I took them my self using a digital cam, then sized and cropped on PC, and printed on color printer using quality photo paper.

Avoid sending just 2, USCIS can RFE for the ones required by I-751 and I-131.

Thanks for the advice. I went ahead and had a friend scan and copy my passport photos onto photo quality paper. They turned out a little lighter than the originals, so I hope that's not going to be an issue. I would hate to drive 45 minutes back to Walmart just to get more photos taken.

I scanned my pics then uploaded them to http://www.epassportphoto.com selected "US photo size" it generated a digital copy of 5 photos on one regular photo page and iput it on my USB stick and printed them at walmart for 19c. Easy.
