A question for those who have cleared this process successfullyWhen you took proof of marriage like bills, bank statements etc...how many did you take?

Were they the most recent ones or did you also include those from 1 or 2 years ago as well?

For bank statements, did you print only cover page with both your names or do you take the full statement...why does USCIS need to see all transactions..

I also plan to bring copies of several paystubs which indicate which bank accounts we deposit into. That coupled with our actual bank statement showing our account #'s shows proof that we're co-mingling our finances.

Along with tax transcript originals and a letter from the bank, I plan to bring a recent paystub, 1 from a year ago and then 1 from 2 yrs ago (for both my husband and myself) - that establishes that we've been doing this for 3 yrs or so. Our bank statements show that they've been mailed to our current address (which we both have listed on our driver's licenses). And no - I don't think they're interested in every deposit and debit that happned on your account - doesn't prove a thing ;)

We don't have a joint mortgage or children from this marriage,,,but I can always show utiities bills from the 3 yr range with our shared names at our current address.

I have the 3 years of tax returns and joint bank statement/phone bills/joint medical insurance payment receipts for the last 2-3 months all ready for them.

They have both our names and the address...

if they want bills and docs from 2 or 3 years ago, they can go thro my old files and take it mad.gif...I gave them a ton over the last 3 years....

Im not wasting time or paper or ink re printing all that.

Don't forget - you're going to a local office this time around - no guarantee the buggers have any access to what you've sent previously. I don't think you have to print a ton...if you can show one example from each year you're married that's 3 utility bills, right? Anyhoo...that's my plan plus the tax transcripts bank letter and a few paystubs showing where we deposit.
