Hello. I had issues with NVC last week that I was able to fix. now i am prepare for the interview. i wanted to ask a question about snail mail to be braught to the interview. i sent my fiance alot of letters and cards for birthday and holidays. She also sent alot of letters to me. I know that she is supposed to bring the letters that I sent to her with her to the interview. Does she also have to bring the letters that she sent to me? Would that be good or should I only tell her to bring letters that I send to her?

Also, my income is way above poverty levels. I want to bring the tax transcripts and copies of a few pay stubs from work together for the I-134. Would this be enough or so I have to include letters from my employer and/or banks?

She should bring everything she can get. It's far better to have it and not need it then to have a consular officer request it and not have it.

Get a letter of employment, if you can. This will show the consular officer that you're still employed. You don't need the bank statements if your income is well qualified.

Bring them all and translated if your an American. The consular officer looked closely at our pictures also asked alot about my kids, I had sent her pics of my boys and he quizzed her on there ages, birthdays, and names. Also include pics of her family with you, we did't include alot of pics of me with her children and the consulate officer asked why, she answered honestly and said, " the kids were in school when we took some of our day trips, he was satisfied with her answer. Also note, please include a list with addresses of her family in the USA if she has them. My fiancée was asked 3 times during interview. She did not and said no. Sorry for all the extra information you didn't ask for just be prepared, my fiancée interview lasted over 1 hour, hopefully your lady will be quick and easy. smile.gif

Send them to her and have her bring the letters. The more the better. Also you may not need the letter and bank stuff but why not send it also. I made way more than I needed and still sent them a years bank statements, statements of my 401k, (Both) copies of deeds to my home and 3 pieces of property I own. Wanted to show a very strong financial side as I was weak in other areas.
