PLAINFIELD - ROBBERY, 2:29 a.m. Feb. 13. A 29-year-old Bedminster man and a 25-year-old West Eighth Street resident told authorities that they were walking in the area of West Second Street and Madison Avenue after a party when they were attacked from behind by three males.

The younger victim said he was knocked down from behind and kicked, suffering only minor injuries, while the older victim said he was knocked down and struck in the forehead with an unknown object, possibly a bottle.

The older victim, who suffered several lacerations to his forehead that required stitches, also said that $20 was taken from him.

The two men, who said they had been drinking, were unable to describe their attackers or give an address of the party they had attended, police say.
