My husband and I started a blog for our friends who are like us - in a Ghanaian/American relationship. Feel free to check out our blog:

http://ghanaspouse.blogspot.com/

The intent is to talk about some of issues associated with our inter-cultural relationship. It is not about the visa process although that does come into play. It is primarily about our relationship issues. We created it with American/Ghanaian relationships in mind, but, I am sure the topics may be relevant to others. Hope some of you will join us.

Sorry if this is posted on the wrong portal or if this type of posting is not allowed on vj. I am sure someone will move it as appropriate.

Staying strong and patient in love and faith!

Thank you Mensahlov. I didn't see your comment on the page. In order to post a comment you either have to sign up as a Follower (just click the word Follow and join by using an existing email account or create a new one) or you can email your comments to me at visajourneyghana@gmail.com and I will post for you. I hope you will post your comments and refer others to the blog. As you can we just set up the blog yesterday but I am receiving a lot of feedback on how necessary the forum is. Some people have been using it as a starting point to have some challenging conversations with their spouses. My husband and I are personally using it to explore issues relevant to us. We figured that since Ghana is so backlogged in scheduling cr1 interviews (by atleast a year - that's right, I said 1 year after closing at the NVC) we should use the time given to us in a productive manner by focusing on further strengthening our relationship. As everybody knows, this super long distance relationship thing isn't easy!
