Panic! What payment is needed at embassy??

Ok, so my husband is in London tonight and will have his CR1 interview tomorrow morning. We are concerned that we've been given bad information by the (not so helpful) London embassy "help" line.

Can someone please tell us...is there ANOTHER fee he has to pay at the London embassy at the time of interview? The embassy helpline just told us (this morning) that he'll have to pay about $350 at the embassy for the visa. I thought we already gave this fee to NVC?! We've been calling and asking the helpline this question for weeks, and no one mentioned this before.

If you can offer any advice, I'd greatly appreciate it!

London Embassy Fee Chart They made a mistake I'd bet. The fee should only be paid if you did a consulate application. Since you went IR-1/CR-1 through USCIS and NVC then you shouldn't have to pay. Best of luck tomorrow.....my prayers are with you and yours.

Not sure if London is like most other embassies but if it is he will have to pay a visa delivery fee to whoever the contracted courier service is. From the reports I have seen this fee is never more than $50 US. That should be the only fee.

I had my interview for the CR-1 last Friday. You have NOTHING to worry about. They were very friendly and they're not out to try and deny you. If all your paperwork is in order you have no reason to worry I assure you.
