and like I said I just had the titre for rubella and chicken pox and showed the results when I went for my medical and they were fine with them

awesome :)

If you are between 18 and 64 the only vaccanations you need are the MMR(mumps, measles, ruebella), Chicken Pox and Tetanus....

I haven't received packet 3 yet, but does it state this on there? If that is not the case, where does it state this? If that is the case, then that's great... I will only need 1 or 2 out of 3 needles poked into me!

it says this on the panel physician Dr. Howard Seiden & Associates' website....

i'll let you know their ETA for the mumps and measles tests when i get back.

so they gave me an ETA of two weeks for the measles and mumps tests too.

so yeah, David and Karen, it does seem like everyone will experience something different when it comes to this part of the process.

goodluck to you all!

Sheesh! No wonder we all feel the stress of this process!

If you have your titre results, you probably won't need any shots except Tetanus&Diptheria, which is a single booster.

PLEASE DO NOT PRIVATE MESSAGE ME OR EMAIL ME. I HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT CURRENT US IMMIGRATION PROCEDURES!!!!!

yeah, that is what i figured, except i might need MMR too...

so i finally got my packet 3 and was reading the vaccination list and noticed that you need another dose of MMR if you were first vaccinated when you were less than 1 year of age.

does anyone know, if i had a titre done, could it tell whether or not i only received the first dose or not? would it show i had less than the 'recommended' number of antibodies and hence need the second dose?

I'm not sure. I would think it would show immune or not immune. That is really the concern. So if it shows immunity then you should be fine. I know that when I was in the US last month and discussing the immunizations for this visa with medical professionals down there...they referenced only getting one MMR and that I was over 18.

When the lab results come back the paper says "immune" that is what you want to see. I'm not sure it gives an antibody measurement.
