Some people just use their spouses as sex slaves and maids when they come here. We have lots of those cases here on VJ forum

And some foreigners are scammers who lie about abuse and end up royaling screwing the USC over. There are far more of these cases. It happens both ways.

The main issue is far too many people go "trolling" for spouses, and far too many people don't actually know the person they're marrying/helping immigrate. No system is perfect though so there's no way to stop this happening.
