thank you for all of your prayers.......unfortunately they have found no medical reason for the seizure but are convinced that it started from high blood pressure that appeared a few years ago that they have found also no medial reason for so now we are back from the hospital and searching for some sort of specialist that deals with illness that is odd like hers the seizure that she had in the hospital has left her with huge memory problems please keep praying

Never stop looking. Seizures are always caused by something. Mine were caused by built up stress. After I learned that it was easy to combat and now seizure free almost 15 years. Took quite a few so called experts and expensive tests to go through before I found one general practitioner who figured it out. My continued prayers.

I want to thank each and everyone of you for your prayers.........

We have some good news about her and I wanted to share it with you

My mom is the kind of person that never backs down if its about one of her kids and when the occasion arrives and it is needed makes her opinions known.....

They started talking maybe my sister needed therapy she listened to all the dribble....

finally she got one of the doctors to listen to her about how my sister was different even as a two year old as in screaming to the point that a parent would like to walk off and leave her where ever because it would go on for hours and hours and complaint of head pain even at age two always in the same place one her head (she tried to get help for her way back then but the doctor kept saying she is just a strong willed two year old)

she then informed the doctor treat her for chemical imbalance all of you have tested her for everything but you have never tried that.

The way I see it you have nothing else to try and no further testing you can do.....so lets try what I think the problem is.....

They put her on medication for chemical imbalance....we also found a doctor that listened to us about the glasses that we felt she needed because she can see far sided and mom felt maybe it also could make head pain because her eyes were always working to shorten their focus when trying to read

SHE IS SEIZURE FREE for two weeks now!!!!!!!!! All seizure meds were stopped as of month ago because they did nothing but make her sleep....

She started back to school (she had been out of school since Dec because of the seizures) she is starting to put weight back on and is her normal annoying teenage self again

She will of course be monitored for a while to make sure that the dosage is right for the chemical imbalance.

We as a family are so relieved there are no words to even tell you for you to understand what it felt like watching this bright child reduced to seizure after seizure and turn into the shell of the person she used to be laying in bed in a drugged state from all the meds they kept giving her trying to make the seizures stop.......

She was always a "A" student the school has put a plan into effect (on line schooling to get her credits back that she lost in the time she was out of school)r as well as normal daily schooling

She has lost a year in her training ......she wants to run in the Olympics and has been training since she was 11.

someone noticed her at a track meet...100 meter dash at age 11... 9.8 was her time

Im sorry this post is so long and is not normal for me as you all know but I am just so excited and wanted to share with those of you that cared about her medical problems......

Thank you also to the ones that sent me private messages and offered ideas to help find the root of the problem

Sara, Im very sorry for this news of your sister. I'll be praying for her and your family and for the doctors to find out what the issue is. My sisters baby (almost 2) has been having off and on seisures for almost a year now. Her father is Indian and he said that he had a relative in his family that had seisures when they were younger and not sure why. My sister is my adopted sister and I know she had seisures until she was 12. Its very scary I know.
